Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and multi-skilled Multi Skill Contractor to support the upkeep and maintenance of our managed properties. The role involves carrying out property inspections and addressing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across our rental portfolio. This is a hands-on role suited to someone experienced, organised, and confident working independently on multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and interim property inspections
- Document findings clearly and report issues promptly
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repair tasks
- Assess required works and advise on next steps
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
- Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, and the Howell and Co team
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in property maintenance or multi-skilled trade work
- Good understanding of building fabric and common maintenance issues
- High attention to detail when inspecting properties
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload across multiple locations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Skills in joinery, plumbing, plastering, or similar trades
- Relevant trade qualifications
