We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and analytical individual to join us as a
Systems and Operations Analyst.

The role is offered on a fixed-term basis of 12 months and will be based out of our Hitchin office. This role could be suited to a graduate (or equivalent) that has experience of using VBA tools and Microsoft Access as part of their degree or previous roles.

You'll support and maintain our Office 365 Visual Basic Access tools, monitor business processes, and deliver process improvements. You'll work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and help standardise approaches across the business.

Key Responsibilities


•Maintain, troubleshoot, and update existing VBA tools to support daily business operations.


•Collaborate with managers and SMEs to understand, identify and prioritise process improvements.


•Lead process reviews, providing documented recommendations summarising the benefit and considerations.


•Drive implementation of changes with ongoing engagement from SMEs and managers, ensuring solutions support long-term adoption.


•Design and test potential process changes with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.


•Ensure risk management is embedded in improvements and recommendations and promote compliance with all relevant policies.


•Monitor regulatory and market developments and assess the impact on potential benefits of a change.


•Ensure that effective relationships are established and maintained across the team and wider departments.


•Monitor and analyse operational activities and challenge the status quo to help improve efficiency and resolve issues.


•Compile and report on process improvement activities.

About You


•Proficient in Microsoft Access, VBA programming, and solution design, ideally including maintaining and correcting macros and ribbons.


•Strong analytical, organisational, and MS Office skills; knowledge of document management and security.


•Experienced in process improvement and delivering change in complex, customer-focused environments.


•Able to balance conflicting priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.


•Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills with all levels.


•Proactive, adaptable, and focused on customer outcomes and continuous improvement.
