Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. This role involves welcoming guests, handling reservations, and addressing any enquiries or concerns with courtesy and efficiency. Also assisting at the restaurant ensuring guests have a good breakfast experience. Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and excellent communication skills are key. The role offers an opportunity to develop within the hospitality industry in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
  • Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately using booking systems
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Address guest concerns promptly and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area at all times
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
  • Process payments securely and accurately for accommodation and additional services
  • Assisting during breakfast operations at the restaurant ensuring guests have a great breakfast experience

Skills

  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette with clear, courteous communication skills
  • Previous experience in hotel or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices is advantageous
