Senior Holistic Support Worker – Redwood Childcare Ltd

Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 (DOE)

Redwood Childcare is expanding, and we are looking for compassionate and skilled Senior Holistic Support Workers who are dedicated to supporting children through a therapeutic lens. Our homes provide safety, stability, and nurturing care to children with emotional and behavioural needs, offering them a space where they can heal, thrive, and rediscover trust in the world around them.

Rooted in therapeutic practice and guided by the PACE approach, we focus on building strong, meaningful relationships that help young people feel understood, valued, and supported.

As a Senior Holistic Support Worker, you will play a key role in creating this environment by:

  • Leading therapeutic and reflective shifts
  • Supporting, mentoring, and modelling practice for staff
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing and trauma-informed care
  • Helping children develop resilience, stability, and hope

What You Need

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
  • Experience leading shifts within residential childcare
  • A therapeutic mindset and the ability to work with trauma-informed approaches
  • Strong emotional resilience and reflective practice
  • Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins

What We Offer
