We are looking for an experienced chef to build the team and help us launch our new food concept at the flagship pub.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and new dish development.
- Manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Monitor portion sizes and presentation standards to maintain the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Commitment to food safety, hygiene, and sustainability practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Passion for food, creativity and innovation in the kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen regulations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
