As Business Analyst (Business Change) at Laing O'Rourke, you'll be at the centre of transformation — turning complex business challenges into actionable solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and measurable results. You'll guide stakeholders through the full project lifecycle, ensuring solutions not only meet objectives but deliver real, long-term benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Discover & Define – Work with stakeholders to uncover business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Drive Change – Spot opportunities for process optimisation and recommend innovative improvements.
  • Design Solutions – Create detailed analysis documentation, from use cases to process flows, that guide technical teams to success.
  • Be the Bridge – Build strong relationships across the business, from end-users to project managers, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Champion Quality – Define and run test strategies, making sure solutions deliver on business value.
  • Enable Adoption – Support change management and help stakeholders embrace new systems and processes.
  • Stay Ahead – Keep up with industry trends and apply fresh insights to deliver smarter solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven business analysis experience, ideally across complex projects and transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Ability to run engaging workshops, communicate with impact, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of producing high-quality outputs for diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

Desirable

  • Exposure to full project lifecycles on multiple projects.
  • Professional certifications (ISEB/BCS BA Diploma, IIBA CBAP).
