The role
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on NetSuite Specialist to join our Finance Transformation team on a 6-month contract. You will play a crucial role in supporting the consolidation of newly acquired entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and enhancing our use of NetSuite functionality in line with UK GAAP and internal policies.Responsibilities
- Lead NetSuite setup and configuration for new entities (COA, dimensions, departments, locations, users)
- Support multi-entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations
- Assist with finance integration planning, data migration, and reconciliations post-acquisition
- Build and optimise saved searches, financial reports, and dashboards
- Maintain and enhance NetSuite reporting to meet FP&A and audit requirements
- Collaborate across Finance and IT on process improvements and automation initiatives
- Provide training and documentation for Finance users where needed
Requirements
- Strong NetSuite expertise, including multi-entity setup, intercompany accounting, and reporting tools
- 5+ years in finance systems roles with at least 2 years of hands-on NetSuite experience
- Proven understanding of UK GAAP and core accounting principles (qualified or qualified-by-experience)
- Demonstrable experience supporting FP&A teams with reporting and analytics
- Experience in chart of accounts design and financial data mapping
- Strong experience in M&A integration projects and finance transformation
- Proficient in Excel and NetSuite saved searches
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable
- Familiarity with accounting and automation tools (e.g., Anaplan. Zone) a plus
- High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills, accuracy and analytical skills
- Strong self-management and motivational skills to learn and deliver on key responsibilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively across different teams
- Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
