Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks and food to our patrons. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and company guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and responding to inquiries or requests promptly.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
  • Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining till operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary.

Skills

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
  • Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Experience in serving or culinary roles is an advantage.
  • Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance the dining experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
