Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning & Delivery

  • Partner with the CPO and HR Leadership Team to shape and prioritise the global HRL strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the coordination and tracking of strategic HR initiatives across geographies and functions.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap and delivery calendar for the HRL team.
  • Facilitate decision-making by preparing briefing materials, dashboards, and insights for the CPO and HR Leadership Team.

Leadership Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CPO, providing clarity on priorities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Manage the rhythm of the business for the HRL function, including leadership meetings, offsites, and communications.
  • Support the CPO in stakeholder engagement, including executive leadership, regional HRL teams, and external partners.

AI Enablement and Innovation 

  • Partner with the CPO and HR Leadership Team to develop and execute a strategic approach to AI adoption across the HRL function, aligned with business priorities and ethical standards.
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI, automation, and digital tools into HR processes to drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and enhance employee experience.
  • Work across the HRL team to drive the evaluation, piloting, and implementation of AI-enabled solutions (e.g., talent analytics, chatbots, intelligent workflows) in collaboration with HR Centres of Excellence and IT.
  • Build AI fluency across the HRL team by designing enablement initiatives, training, and knowledge-sharing forums that demystify AI and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Monitor emerging trends in HR technology and innovation, providing insights and recommendations to the CPO and HR Leadership Team.

     

Team Engagement & Culture

  • Champion initiatives that enhance morale, engagement, and connectivity across the global HR      team.
  • Design and deliver engagement activities, pulse surveys, and feedback loops to ensure the HR team feels valued and heard.
  • Collaborate with HRL leaders to identify and address cultural and operational pain points.
  • EVP Implementation including overseeing the planning, coordination and delivery of initiatives linked to the firm's EVP, ensuring they are delivered on time and aligned to the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Talent, Communications, and DEI teams to ensure consistent messaging and activation of the EVP.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of EVP-related initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed, providing regular updates to the CPO and HR Leadership Team. 

Operational Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, governance, and ways of working.
  • Ensure effective project management practices are applied across HR initiatives.
  • Support budget planning, resource allocation, and vendor management as needed.
  • Position the HR intranet as an engaging, informative resource that showcases the department's initiatives and impact across the firm, strengthening awareness of the HR function.
  • Work closely with internal communications to raise the HR team's profile by highlighting achievements and increasing visibility throughout the organisation.

Person Specification

Relevant Experience and knowledge

  • Proven ability to manage projects or programmes within complex, multi-stakeholder environments, ideally with international scope.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a track record of successfully balancing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and updates for senior audiences and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with HR strategy, employee engagement and employer brand concepts. 
  • Experience collaborating with marketing or internal communications to deliver engaging campaigns and raise team profiles. 
  • Understanding of AI, automation, and emerging HR technologies, with the ability to identify and implement relevant innovations
  • Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives within HR or related functions
  • Desirable: Background in professional services, law, or partnership-based organisations; formal project management training (e.g. Prince2, Agile).
