About the Role

Their legal team is looking for a skilled Senior Employment Counsel.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Strategic Advice: Serve as a trusted advisor to the People & Culture team, executives, and managers. You'll provide strategic, risk-based legal counsel on complex issues like hiring, terminations, employee rights, pay transparency, anti-discrimination, and global expansion.
• Lead Investigations: Conduct and advise on confidential investigations into a wide range of sensitive matters, including harassment, discrimination, and conflicts of interest.
• Drive Compliance: Partner with P&C to create and implement global initiatives.
• Resolve Disputes: Efficiently and effectively resolve legal disputes, working closely with P&C and external counsel.
• You will also collaborate to streamline processes related to creating and updating policies, employment-related agreements, and training to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Mentor and Coach: Train and guide junior legal colleagues and members of the P&C team.

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer who ideally has worked for an international company.
• You have excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills and are able to build trust and communicate with empathy with a diverse range of people.
• You are a proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of your work and managing multiple projects at once.
• You have a global, agile, and curious mindset and an ability to think creatively and outside the box to solve complex problems.
