Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The Front of House Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment that encourages team cohesion and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise front of house staff, including serving personnel, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise the dining experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the premises
- Lead team management initiatives, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding food production and service timings
- Assist in organising special events or promotions to enhance the restaurant's profile
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, and end-of-day reporting
- Monitor budgets, sales, and costs to meet revenue and profitability targets
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally with supervising experience in a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and food production processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to foster positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is beneficial but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: £32,750.00-£34,500.00 per year
