Company Overview:

Join our friendly team at Vincenzo's Café Bar in Lancaster. We are a busy café with a loyal customer base, which has also grown from our sister café, Vincenzo's Coffee House.

Job Summary:

Operating our dishwasher and serving food to customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our café. Your primary responsibilities will include washing pots, maintaining cleanliness and serving food to our customers.

Please note that this is a physically demanding job as the premises are over 2 floors, so you will certainly keep fit Our kitchen is on the first floor and you will be carrying food downstairs to serve to customers on the ground floor.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the café.

- Ensure a steady flow of clean cutlery and crockery for the café.

• Serve food to customers in an efficient and friendly manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Support the team in opening and closing procedures as needed.

Experience:

Prior experience in food service or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory.

Skills:

- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively.

- Willingness to work fast to serve our customers as efficiently as possible.

- Positive attitude, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate will be discussed during the interview process.

This role could be part time or full time - we have some flexibility with this but you would need to be available for at least 3 shifts a week. Shift times would be approximately 10.30am-5pm. When applying, please indicate your availability preferences; specifically any days you are unable to work (this is not a problem, it's purely for scheduling purposes)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 34 per week
