Amazon Market Manager

Role Purpose:
The Amazon Market Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability across Amazon marketplaces. The role requires managing all aspects of Amazon operations, including strategy, listings, advertising, promotions, and account management, while ensuring compliance and protecting brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's Amazon marketplace strategy.
- Manage day-to-day operations across Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
- Optimise product listings and brand store with engaging and SEO-optimised content.
- Monitor account health, reviews, ratings, and feedback.
- Manage stock levels in coordination with supply chain and logistics.
- Analyse sales performance, reporting regularly to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and brand guidelines.
- Identify and act on growth opportunities within categories and regions.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP).
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and improving organic rankings.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded with a focus on ROI and profitability.
Desirable:
- Experience managing Amazon marketplaces across multiple regions (EU/US).
- Familiarity with third-party Amazon tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.).
- Experience with wider e-commerce platforms (eBay, Shopify, etc.).
- Knowledge of digital marketing outside Amazon (PPC, SEO, social commerce).
- Experience working in the consumer goods, retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Ability to manage a small team or external agencies.
- Multilingual skills for EU marketplace management.
Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of revenue and sales growth targets.
- ROI/ACOS targets met for Amazon Advertising campaigns.
- Increased Buy Box ownership and organic keyword rankings.
- Inventory availability maintained at target service levels.
- Positive customer reviews and ratings (minimum threshold maintained).
- Timely and accurate reporting to management.
