Job title: Sports Coach
Hourly Rate: £12.50- £15.00
Type: Permanent – Self Employed
Hours: 3 -5 with the possibility of more – Holiday Camps
Responsible: Progression of Lead coach / to be responsible for additional coaches.
Must have a driving license and access to a vehicle. Evening independent work.
To Deliver or assist sport activities
To support children with Special educational needs and disabilities.
Adapt and plan session according to the needs of the children.
To implement a well-structured sport/social session
To take positive steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation amongst children
To be a positive role model creating a fun and safe environment.
In difficult situation to be able to deescalate and conclude solutions.
Ensure inclusion and acceptance to all participants.
To understand children different needs and how to safely support them.
Job Role We are thrilled to announce an exciting job opportunity at Believe Sport for the position of SEN & Sport Coach, with the potential to grow into a lead coach role. As part of our team, you will have the rewarding task of delivering engaging sport sessions in the South Kesteven & Lincolnshire area. Imagine waking up each day knowing you're about to bring smiles to children's faces and offer them unforgettable sports experiences. From after-school clubs to evening sessions, there's a wide range of activities to lead, starting from 4pm. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities, as well as a basic understanding of different sports. This is a chance to not only seize an incredible opportunity but also to expand your skills and impact. Coaches will get the chance to lead after-school clubs, summer camps, birthday parties, multi-sport events, social sessions, and much more. Join us in creating unforgettable moments in the lives of children through sports Expectations As a successful coach at Believe Sport, you will be responsible for delivering engaging after-school clubs, fun-filled birthday parties, and dynamic multisport clubs. Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with external companies through partnerships established by our organization. The role requires a DBS enhanced check, emphasizing our commitment to safety and professionalism. In return for your dedication, you will receive competitive compensation ranging from £12.50 to £15.00 per hour and have access to regular progression courses to support your professional development. The weekly hours will vary between 3-5 hours depending on the location, offering flexibility to suit your schedule. A valid full driving license is essential as you will be required to commute to various locations, including Bourne, Grantham, Spalding, Boston, and more, ensuring seamless delivery of our services. Coaches are responsible for declaring amount invoices paid to coaches. Invoices are sent to Believe Sport and paid within 7 to 10 working days.
