Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Support catering operations by preparing dishes for events and functions as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, reporting any shortages or issues.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience or culinary experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and serving within a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
