About the Role
Kiddies Nuggets TV is a new and exciting children's YouTube channel focused on fun, colourful and educational content for young children. We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team on a full-time freelance basis.
You will be working closely with our presenter and production team to edit vibrant, engaging children's videos including nursery rhymes, singing, storytelling, and educational content.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, fun, high-quality videos for children's YouTube content.
- Add animations, transitions, sound effects, and kid-friendly visual elements.
- Work extensively with green screen footage and apply professional backgrounds/effects.
- Enhance audio, sync music and voice-overs, and improve overall sound quality.
- Colour correction and consistent branding across all videos.
- Collaborate with the creative team to follow script flow and storytelling direction.
- Deliver videos on time and in the required formats.
Requirements
- Proven video editing experience (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience working with green screen editing.
- Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with children's content is an advantage but not required.
Hours & Payment
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Pay: £12.50 per hour
- Freelance/self-employed arrangement (candidate must invoice monthly).
