We're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner, Group to join our Strategic Finance team and own all things planning, partnering and decision making through a global lens.
Working alongside regional Strategic Finance colleagues and key members of our group functions, this role is pivotal in providing clarity on the numbers behind Yoto's strategy, delivering meaningful improvements in our forecasting capabilities and being the custodian of cash flow and investment across the group. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who's passionate about turning data into insights, linking Finance with strategy and driving continuous improvement across a diverse and scaling business.

We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like BrainBots.

What you'll be doing:
Financial Forecasting
Support the CFO and Head of Strategic Finance on translating Yoto's strategy into numbers through linking the KPIs and financials which underpin our business model
Be the primary owner of all financial forecast processes, including long range planning, budgeting and in-year re-forecasting
Deliver continuous improvements in our forecasting capabilities, leveraging our EPM (Pigment), ERP (Netsuite) and support from our Data team to increase accuracy through better data integrity, systemisation and AI
Capital Optimisation
Support the CFO and Head of Strategic Finance on optimising our capital allocations and unlocking any external funding requirements to finance them
Be the supply-side Finance partner for our S&OP process, using commercial thinking to balance demand vs. supply side risk, maximising Revenue and limiting overstocks
Be the beacon for cash planning and working capital optimisation across the business
Group Business Partnering
Partner our Content, Product and Operations teams on all CAPEX spend to ensure that they're supported by a healthy ROI and prioritised accordingly for Yoto's future
Partner on all Non-staff Overheads, leveraging Pigment to promote self-service for department leads so that this is more variance management than report generation
EPM Ownership
Be the business owner for Pigment, building and modelling within the tool to unlock reporting and forecasting improvements across the group.
What you'll bring:
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), preferably in FP&A, Strategic Finance or Commercial Finance
- Experience with longer-term planning and running complex three-statement financial models to support this in either Excel or a financial planning tool
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating numbers into insights and actions for both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders at varying levels
- A continuous improvement mindset, particularly when it comes to data and how we can leverage tools and AI to unlock automations and more systematic capabilities
- Experience with financial planning tools and developing these to remove manual planning across Finance (Pigment experience a plus, but not necessary)
- Experience within a subscriptions business, understanding the levers to strengthening LTV through better customer experience and retention
- Exposure to managing direct alongside indirect cash flow models.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 based on experience
What you can expect from Yoto:
- Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues. Take advantage of our 'work from anywhere' policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
