Full Time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has come about for the role of Improvement and Strategy development Lead within the Policy, Improvement and Partnerships Team.

Working at the centre of Children, Education and Adult Social Care Directorates, and alongside cross-council teams, the team leads continuous improvement arrangements and ensures that the council is prepared for regulatory inspections of children's services, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and adult social care.

You will work alongside the leadership team to deliver continuous improvement and to prepare for and ensure delivery against key inspection and assurance frameworks. You will also lead key improvement projects and workstreams that relate to strategic improvement priorities.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic individual who is able to take initiative and drive change. You will have experience of improvement and strategy development, and an understanding of inspection frameworks. You will have knowledge of the strategic planning cycle, including consultation, engagement, and co-production.

You will be required to work at pace, build positive relationships with partners and be responsive to complex and changing needs and demands. The team supports Children's Services, services for children and young people with SEND, and Adult Social Care, and the post holder will be required to work flexibly across all service areas to meet service demands.
