The Role
TechPoint Group, is now one of the largest UK-owned CEMs. We supply EMS and supply chain services to leading technology companies across the UK and Europe. We are opening a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey.

The position is ideal for engineers who enjoy technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and product development support. We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background in electronics, particularly those experienced in both customer support and hands-on laboratory/test work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for component / part selection based on customer needs and competitor comparisons
• Conduct product testing (crystal screening, VCXO screening, S-parameter and phase noise measurements).
• Interpret and respond to technical enquiries
• Design and optimise impedance matching networks and troubleshoot component behaviour.
• Investigate quality returns, identify failure mechanisms, and liaising with the customers.
• Develop demo boards, maintain lab safety and equipment.
• Developing and updating automated test systems.
• Contribute to technical marketing materials and customer outreach.

About You

• Proven technical knowledge of crystal, oscillator, and filter components.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, especially crystals, oscillators, and RF filters.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and interpreting technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills for technical support and collaboration.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and failure analysis processes.
