Looking for a fulltime estimator/ QS hybrid role based in Shrewsbury working in the new build and refurbishment. Must have a minimum of 3years experience with an immediate start. Happy for the employee to be based within 60 mins of the office.

Duties to include costing at tender stage and preparing bid, site visit if required to firm up tender submission, liaising internally with contracts department when contract goes live.

Salary expectations are dependent on experience

Car allowance can be accommodated for, company bonus is discretionary at the end of the year dependant on company profits, we pay into the company pension scheme, no healthcare allowance as of yet but we have been actively looking this so may be an option going into 2023.

Can you also confirm the main sectors you work in for clarification and the project values? We work within education sector carrying out newbuild and refurbishment but are currently looking to get into the healthcare sector. Project values range from £250k - £2.5m. whilst we offer a nationwide service our hotbed at the minute is throughout the east midlands

Is there parking at the office? Yes

Is the role full-time in the office, or is it site and office-based? Is there any WFH flexibility with it? It is based in the office, but will require a site visit at costing stage for clarity. Theres not really any flexibility as we work closely with the designers who are office based too. We are very understanding if someone has to finish early or start later due to family issues etc

Working hours are:-

Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00

Friday 08:30 15:45
