We are looking for an Assembly Assistant and driver to join us and contribute to our continued success and growth. You will work within a small team with responsibility for a variety of duties to assist with the smooth day to day running of the business.

Key skills & experience:

-Motivated and adaptable, willing to assist with all company challenges.

-Able to think laterally and deal with last minute changes under pressure.

-Read & understand technical drawings is desirable.

-Take pride in work and achievements.

-Confident and capable driver of our company van.

-Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule when on delivery runs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Communication – communicate via telephone & email with suppliers & our London team to coordinate work.
  • Labelling and sorting of parts and painted frames
  • Assembly - installation and test fitting of hardware and glass to painted frames
  • Delivery of jobs to sites in London and across the south of the UK.
  • Stock control – maintain a database of stock parts, undertaking stock checks periodically.
  • Lead in the workshop with the final assembly & dispatch of products.

Salary: £25-30k pa. 40hrs week. Flexible hours to fit around delivery schedules, with overtime and time off in lieu.

Permanent Contract. Onsite in Launceston and delivering in the south of the UK. Core hours 0700 – 1530 Mon – Fri.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
