Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. This role is ideal for someone filling gaps in a calendar, own transport is essential and I will provide all materials necessary for the job. I do a lot of maintenance works and have recently been getting more and more painting jobs. I require a decorator initially for 1 weeks work commencing 27th October. There will be ongoing works after this but I can't guarantee full time employment at present. If this sounds like something you're looking for then please get in touch. Thanks

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
  • Drive to various job sites as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction painting and decorating.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to job sites.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
