Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE13

Job Type: Full-Time (Nights)

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Qualification Required: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Care Home Team Leader (Nights) to join our dedicated care team in Burton-on-Trent. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring that residents receive the highest standards of person-centred care throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the night care team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
  • Oversee care delivery to ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Administer and manage medication in line with company policy and CQC standards.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits to maintain safety, hygiene, and care quality.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and incidents during the night shift.
  • Maintain accurate records and handovers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide coaching, supervision, and support to junior care staff.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a care home or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Medication administration experience (preferred).
  • Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently during night shifts.
