Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor seeking a senior role with real influence and progression?

Our client, a respected regional law firm, is looking for a dynamic Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their Tonbridge office. This is a chance to lead on complex matters, mentor junior colleagues, and shape the future of a thriving Private Client department.

The Role: Your Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing a high-value Private Client caseload (wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, powers of attorney)

  • Advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on complex and sensitive estate matters

  • Providing technical leadership and acting as a subject matter expert within the team

  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff

  • Driving business development and strengthening client relationships

Requirements: What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 6+ years PQE in Private Client law

  • Extensive recent experience in a UK law firm handling complex Private Client matters

  • STEP qualification (or equivalent) highly desirable

  • Exceptional technical knowledge in trusts, tax, estate planning, and probate

  • Proven leadership, supervisory, and mentoring skills

  • Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and client care abilities

  • Ambition to progress towards partnership or departmental leadership

Location & Working Arrangements

  • Location: Tonbridge, Kent

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

  • Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in the office, flexible remote arrangements
