Furn Contracts Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our established team in Essex, focused on managing both Licenced and Non-Licenced Asbestos Removal.

Our Senior Management Team each hold between 20-35 years of experience within the industry we pride ourselves on injecting a wealth of knowledge and understanding across our entire Furn Contracts Ltd team. As industry leaders we are focused on maintaining continual improvement, innovation, and combined effort, offering trusted advice and a professional service to our clients throughout the UK even in the most demanding and regulated environments.

We are fully licensed and monitored by the Health and Safety Executive to carry out work with asbestos coatings, asbestos insulation, and asbestos insulating board in accordance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012).

Requirements:

  • Proven track record and ability to remove, repair and encapsulate asbestos containing materials in line with all health, safety, quality and environmental regulations and legislation.
  • Ability to understand, comprehend and follow Plans of Work, Material Safety Data Sheets and all associated Risk and COSHH Assessments.
  • Hold responsibility for completing all site generated documentation and daily exposure records.
  • Ability to carry out daily checks of all operatives RPE
  • Excellent communication skills when liaising with both site personnel and office teams.
  • 5 Years Minimum of Experience in the Asbestos Industry
  • Hold a Clean Driving Licence with ability to tow

Certifications (Must Have):

  • FULL Asbestos Medical
  • FULL FACE MASK Certificate
  • HALF MASK Certificate
  • Respirator Certificate
  • Asbestos Supervisor Training
  • First Aid Training
  • Qualified to Tow
  • Desirable but not mandatory - PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space, Manual Handling, DBS Checked, SSSTS

Job Details:

8am - 3pm - on-site

£180 - £200 per day + Company Vehicle + Company Work Tablet

Fulltime - 7 Days a week

Location: Head Office - Basildon (Work location is UK Wide), Weekend Work and Working Away Available
