Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a proven track record in supervising bar staff and managing beverage service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a blend of culinary knowledge, bartending expertise, and team management abilities to create an exceptional experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
  • Develop innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food production and preparation standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create complementary food pairings for beverages.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance of the bar, implementing strategies for improvement where necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably as a Bar Manager or similar position.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of bartending techniques, beverage trends, and food production processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of food preparation is advantageous.
