Job Summary:

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced gardener to join our small, friendly team. You'll work alongside another gardener, travelling to clients' homes and maintaining their gardens to a high standard, following set specifications and timeframes. This is a hands-on, physical role for someone who takes real pride in their work, understands that gardening is both physically demanding and deeply rewarding, and wants to be part of a family business that genuinely values quality and professionalism.

You'll be responsible for maintaining a range of private gardens and lawns across Swindon, carrying out seasonal tasks to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

· Lawn mowing, edging, and applying lawn treatments

· Weeding, planting, pruning, hedge trimming, and general maintenance

· Seasonal tidy-ups and garden clearances

· Digging, mulching, and other practical tasks

· Gritting roads and paths in winter (paid evening overtime)

· Maintaining tools and keeping the van and equipment in good order

· Communicating politely and professionally with clients

What We're Looking For

· Minimum 3 years' professional gardening experience or a recognised horticultural qualification

· Strong plant knowledge and practical horticultural skills

· Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude

· Smart, presentable, and confident in communicating with clients

· Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather

· Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

· B+E trailer licence (desirable)

· Annualised hours contract: full-time April–November, part-time December–March, with equal monthly pay throughout the year
