Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 driver to join our friendly team.
- Operate Tarmac Hotboxes
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety standards
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays
- Would require early starts to ensure collection of tarmac, some early days to compensate late days.
Experience
- Proven experience as a class 2 driver or commercial driver, preferably with Hot boxes
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
- Experience with route planning and navigation tools is advantageous
- Prior experience of tarmacing is desirable
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles with a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.97-£20.83 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
