Job Summary

The Rectory Hotel is looking to recruit an outstanding Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead the team and move things forward through into the Christmas period alongside our F&B manager. This is a role for a professional with lots of experience and is the perfect next step for someone looking for progression.

We are looking for a real leader, bursting with positivity, personality and professionalism. Experience is a must as you need to hit the ground running to lead and inspire your focused team.

The aim for The Rectory is unpretentious and fun country hospitality, exceptional food and drink, and at a decent price. we have 16 bedrooms, a classic country cocktail bar and a 60 seater restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

What we are looking for:

  • Driven, positive, can-do attitude, always on the front foot

  • Ability to demonstrate passion for food and service

  • Proven Hospitality experience

  • Organised with the ability to multi-task

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Flexibility and problem solving

  • A great communicator- with both guests and the rest of the team

  • Someone who appreciates that training is key

Responsibilities include:

  • Being a joint face of the F&B operation with the F&B manager .

  • take the team forward through organised and consistent leadership.

  • Drive 5* standards through everything that you do

  • Weekly duties such as cash up, booking management, staff management, training along with assisting with stock counts and ordering.

  • Maintenance of the building, health and safety procedures
