We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Pre-School Room Leader for our unique premises in Impington offering both staff and children exciting opportunities.

Forest School sessions, spending time in our Conservation Cabin, Allotment and Nature Maze will form part of your everyday practice. Through these exciting activities you will nurture and support the children to gain all the skills needed for their transition to school. A love for children is a must, as well as enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of a fantastic staff team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver effective daily management of the Pre-School room, in accordance with The Wendy House Day Nursery Impington Ltd's Policies and Procedures, The Early Years Foundation Stage and OFSTED requirements.

  • Ensure that the Pre-School room delivers a service of the highest quality; providing a safe, stimulating and caring child-centred environment, catering for the children's individual educational and developmental needs.

  • Ensure that all agreed quality and safety standards are maintained in the Nursery at all times.

  • Liaise closely with parents and carers to ensure high levels of involvement and customer satisfaction at all times.
