Our Silks Farm Day Nursery in Somersham, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a part time
SEND Nursery Practitioner
to who is responsible for supporting, assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs.

Hours:
8:30am – 4:30pm

Days:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (with potential for Monday)

Contract Type:
Part-time

Start Date:
As soon as possible

September 2025

What will you be doing:

  • Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated.
  • Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
