Your Role:

We are currently seeking a top performing Guidewire Developer with hands on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter or Billingcenter to join our successful Insurance Practice.

  • Development of the Guidewire application and GUnits to enable TDD
  • Work closely with the business analyst in performing a detailed review of business requirements and functional specifications and come up with requirement clarification document for further use.
  • Communicate with technical leads and IT groups for understanding the project's technical implications, dependencies, and potential conflicts. Communicate with project manager on a frequent basis providing the status update.
  • Use requirement gathering techniques such as brainstorming, one on one meetings, group meetings, focus group meetings, direct observation and prototypes. All these techniques will help to identify the best solution for the requirements.
  • Research issues reported in Production, perform root cause analysis and document them. Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform versioning of the release updates and resolve the code conflicts while merging and promoting the code to higher environments.

Provide support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Your Profile:

  • Insurance domain knowledge with Property & Casualty background
  • 10+ Year of Experience in Guidewire with proficiency in Designing, Development and Implementation.
  • Proficient knowledge in designing Page Configuration Files (PCF) in GW Claimcenter/PolicyCenter/Billingcenter.
  • Have proficient knowledge in understanding and analyzing defects based on long pull responses, coverage and PCF related scenarios in Policy/Claim/Billing Center.
  • Adapt at quickly understanding business domains and requirements and providing effective and efficient applications.
  • Should have knowledge on Admin data loading.
  • Good experience in Assignment and Segmentation Rules, Preupdate and Validation rules.
  • Good experience on LOB configuration and related typelists.
  • Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL
    Experience in SCRUM Agile, prefer Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
