Why You?

As a Commis Chef at Broadwick Soho you play a vital role in supporting the kitchen brigade, working under the guidance of senior chefs to maintain the high culinary standards. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your workstation, assisting in the cooking and plating of dishes, and ensuring food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and are expected to develop strong technical skills and show creativity contributing to the overall success and reputation of Broadwick Soho.

We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues. You will work with brilliant colleagues across the Hotel so that we are one team delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.

What do we need from you?

  • Experience as a Commis Chef in a similar role in a F&B luxury operation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to build rapport with people easily.
  • A creative thinker with a can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A confident, energetic, and passionate team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Ability to lift and carry, supporting the kitchen staff with the setup of the kitchen and deliveries and ability to stand for several hours.
  • Ability to work 45 hours over 5 shifts a week, including evenings and weekends.
