We are looking for a reliable and proactive Porter to join our team at the Watford site. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and general upkeep of the facility — both inside and outside. This hands-on role supports the day-to-day running of the site and contributes to a safe, efficient, and professional working environment.

Key Skills

Facilities & Cleaning Duties:

  • Carry out daily cleaning of warehouse and communal areas, ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
  • Perform external cleaning and site maintenance, including yard sweeping, litter collection, and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
  • Manage internal and external waste collection, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and disposed of correctly in line with company recycling and waste policies.
  • Support with the movement of stock, equipment, or materials around the site as required.
  • Carry out light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, reporting faults, and assisting with small repairs.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are maintained, stored safely, and used in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the Facilities Manager.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Previous experience in a facilities, cleaning, or porter role (industrial or warehouse environment preferred).
  • Good awareness of health and safety and manual handling procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

We are looking for Poters across 2 different shifts, Please specify which shift you prefer:

Morning - 7 am - 4 pm

Nights - 9 pm - 6 am

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,396.80 per year
