BMS  Senior Service Engineer

Location: London
Salary: £55K + Benefits

VIGO is working with a leading smart buildings specialist that has built its reputation on delivering high-quality BMS service and support across London and the South East. They're now looking for a BMS Service Engineer to join their expanding team someone passionate about building optimisation, client support, and technical excellence.

Role Overview

As a BMS Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining, optimising, and troubleshooting building control systems across a variety of client sites. You'll work with leading BMS platforms to enhance system performance, reduce energy consumption, and deliver outstanding service to customers.

You'll also act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them get the very best from their building management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and system health checks
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve faults across BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, etc.)
  • Perform small works modifications and upgrades where required
  • Deliver comprehensive service reports and recommendations to clients
  • Liaise with technical teams and project managers to ensure service excellence
  • Support energy-saving initiatives through system optimisation

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience servicing BMS systems (ideally Trend, Tridium, or similar)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
  • Electrical qualifications (NVQ, C&G, or equivalent) are advantageous
  • Passion for smart technology, energy optimisation, and innovation
