Job Purpose
ISC are seeking a Quality and Technical Manager, reporting to the Stabilisation Technical Director and working closely with the Inndex Implementation Manager; you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining companywide project quality, inspection and test plans to ensure that all projects meet consistent standards.

This role involves leading quality implementation initiatives, monitoring compliance with policies, driving continuous improvement, and managing internal and external audits.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
This is an important role within ISC, with primary responsibility to:

  • Develop, implement, and manage project quality plans and inspection and test plans.
  • Ensure documentation and processes comply with contractual and project specific requirements.
  • Referring to project specifications define ITP scope.
  • Oversee inspections, testing procedures, and verification processes.
  • Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Train project staff on quality procedures and protocols.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and any areas for improvement.
  • Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

  • Certifications: CSCS as a minimum.
  • Technical Skills: High levels of technical knowledge in earthworks, stabilisation and remediation methodologies and civil engineering practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Construction Experience: In-depth experience across a range of construction sectors (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure) and project types.
