Based in Lincoln as a Water Connections Digital Surveyor, you'll be responsible for supporting the Development Services Connections Manager by providing a seamless service to our customers requiring connections to our existing water infrastructure.
What will you be doing?
In this design role for new offsite water connections, you'll be responsible for assessing information provided by our customers and site team to develop connection designs. You will create pre-construction information that highlights foreseeable construction hazards and prepare accurate quotes for new offsite water connections. Additionally, you'll advise customers on laying private pipework and provide a detailed cost breakdown for each quote.
You'll have the opportunity to provide first class customer service, through requirement gathering and providing cost advice, as well as establishing innovative ways to consistently improve the experience of our customers.
Using industry software and our systems, you'll complete digital surveys to provide customers with accurate cost and advice. You'll be expected to liaise not only with customers but also with Developer Services Technicians and other key stakeholders, providing technical guidance and knowledge to colleagues and customers.
What do you need?
Our ideal candidate will have IT experience using various software and management systems and ideally have experience of using SAP. Ideally have a awareness of Construction Design Management 2015 Regulation.
We're looking for candidates who have a portfolio of transferrable skills, including excellent customer service, communication, decision making and interpersonal skills. You'll have the ability to act on personal initiative, as well as a flexible approach to work to enable efficient workload management.
