Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Business Operations Assistant to join our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will support:

Human Resourcing, Business Development/Marketing, Finance and Business Operations.

Reports to: The Business Manager

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT: [Human Resource Management, Retail Sales Management, Professional Regulations & Trading Standards]

Supporting management and branch teams in the day-to-day operations of general office duties. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and external organisations to meet pharmacy requirements. Manage supplier and wholesaler accounts. Ad hoc projects and tasks.

FINANCE: [VAT Submissions, Bookkeeping+ Accounts Payables and Receivables]

Preparation of weekly sales, cost and KPI reporting. Preparation of VAT submissions to the accountant and assist with all HMRC duties. Supporting external bookkeepers for preparation of monthly reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement and other analysis.

MARKETING: [Traditional + Social Media + Outdoor activities]

Defining and executing marketing and communication activities according to the business objectives of the company. Develop and implement multi-channel sales and marketing plans and strategies that drive growth and increase revenue for the business. Coordinate all marketing activities to generate leads. Collaborate with other teams to promote offerings.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: [Wholesale + Managed Care + Branch Growth Plans]

You will play a critical role in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute strategies that expand our customer base, increase market share, and foster long-term partnerships with other healthcare entities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.49-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
