Contract: Full-time (up to 2 positions available)

Qualification: Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years £TBC (Depending on experience)

Setting: Rural, farm-based nursery powered entirely by renewable energy

About Us

Sheepwash Farm Day Nursery is a purpose-built early years setting located on beautiful farmland in Whittington. Now 5 years old, we have grown into a thriving, high-quality nursery with an established team of 20 passionate practitioners. Our management team is highly supportive and dedicated to staff wellbeing. We also have a Training Officer whose role is to guide and support all team members with ongoing professional development and career progression.

We are committed to delivering the highest-quality early years education, ensuring every child thrives. Safeguarding is central to our practice, with rigorous procedures followed at all times.

About the Role

Due to increasing numbers, we are recruiting up to two full-time Level 3 Early Years Educators to join our friendly, experienced, and supportive team.

As a key person, you will deliver the EYFS through engaging, creative, and child-led activities, while forming strong relationships with parents and supporting each child's unique developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key person, ensuring the individual needs of your children are met
  • Deliver the EYFS through inspiring, purposeful, child-led learning
  • Build and maintain positive parent partnerships
  • Plan, observe, and assess children's progress with accuracy and pride
  • Provide detailed, reflective observations and meaningful next steps
  • Create daily teachable moments through thoughtful opportunities
  • Celebrate children's achievements and developmental milestones
  • Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the updated EYFS
  • Support management in meeting and maintaining Ofsted requirements
  • Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively as part of a proactive, supportive team

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification: NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE Diploma, or NVQ Level 3
  • Minimum 2 year of experience working with children aged 0–5
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS
  • Passion for high-quality childcare and exciting learning experiences
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong initiative
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children's wellbeing
