We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Joiner / Carpenter.

Applicants to have NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent, be able to work as part of a team with excellent work ethic, good communication skills, clean and tidy appearance and excellent organisation skills.

Must be multi skilled in other construction disciplines.

Duties:

  • Competent in 1st & 2nd fix work
  • Splicing rotten timber ends on trusses, purlins, etc
  • Repairing historic windows, doors
  • Roof timber work, valleys, replacement rafters, skylights, etc
  • Carrying out other types of restoration work as required including lime works, masonry, etc

Requirements:

  • Own tools and equipment
  • Proven track record
  • References

Approx. 40 hours per week with option of weekend work.

Working away as required – accommodation, travel and bonus

Paid 28 days holiday per year.

Additional training & development available.

Stable opportunity with long term employment.

Negotiable pay (hourly rate) depending on experience.
