About The Opportunity
We're seeking a Team Lead – Data Analysis & Data Visualization to guide our analytics function and transform raw data into meaningful, accessible insights. The role involves leading a team of analysts, working closely with product managers and our Head of Data, and playing a pivotal role in shaping how EveryWatch communicates complex market dynamics through data.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on storytelling with data — turning deep analysis into clear, visually engaging dashboards, reports, and graphics that drive decision-making across the business.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of proven, hands-on experience leading a team of data analysts.
- 8+ years of proven experience in data analysis and visualization, ideally in a digital product or market-focused environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI and Advanced SQL skills, including hands-on experience with MSSQL.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and the ability to design clean, user-friendly visual reports.
- Excellent communication skills — especially the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- A curious mindset and passion for uncovering insights from data.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Python or other coding languages for scripting is a plus.
- Experience in the startup or venture capital space is a plus.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of data analysts in delivering high-impact analysis and reporting.
- Write and optimize queries across our MSSQL database to extract key insights.
- Develop and deploy a high volume of impactful dashboards and reports that directly inform business decisions across the company.
- Translate complex, data-intensive concepts into simple, digestible formats for both internal stakeholders and external users.
- Work collaboratively with the Product team to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven features within the EveryWatch platform.
- Present findings and insights to non-technical audiences in compelling and actionable ways.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Direct experience within the luxury watch market, including an understanding of auction dynamics, dealer networks, and collector trends, is a significant plus. We also highly value extensive experience from a major IT or tech company, as well as a background in the SaaS, E-Commerce, Gaming, or Digital Publishing industries.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python or R for statistical modeling, machine learning applications (e.g., for pricing algorithms or anomaly detection), and advanced data manipulation.
- Specialized Analytics: Experience in areas like customer behavior analysis, marketing campaign effectiveness for high-net-worth individuals, or financial modeling related to asset valuation.
Benefits
- Shape the Future of Luxury: Be at the forefront of bringing unprecedented transparency and insight to the global luxury watch market, influencing a passionate community and industry professionals alike.
- Impactful Work: Your analyses will directly inform critical decisions for our platform's development, market reports, and strategic partnerships, with tangible impact on how users engage with luxury watches.
- Cutting-Edge Technology: Work with a massive, unique dataset and advanced analytical tools, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in luxury market intelligence. EveryWatch is built on an AI-based aggregation platform, offering exciting technical challenges.
- Growth Opportunities: Join a fast-growing, innovative company backed by leading tech investors. You'll have ample opportunities for professional development and to take on new challenges.
- Passionate Team: Collaborate with a team of watch enthusiasts and data experts who are genuinely excited about the product and its mission.
- Competitive Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.
