Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage scheduling and appointments, ensuring efficient use of time for both staff and clients.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents.
- Assist with clerical duties such as typing correspondence, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.
- Utilise QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to support administrative functions across the organisation.
Experience
- Previous office experience is essential, with a strong background in administrative roles preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in data entry and clerical duties is highly advantageous.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail in all written communications.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
