Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
  • Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Assist in managing inventory by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Uphold food safety standards by maintaining hygiene practices in the preparation and serving of beverages.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper record keeping.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Basic maths skills for managing cash transactions and inventory calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide friendly and helpful service to guests.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A passion for creating enjoyable experiences for customers in a fast-paced environment.
