Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for creating responsive and user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using modern technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Collaborate with designers to create engaging user interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences (UX).
  • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure applications function well across various devices.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to manage data effectively.
  • Utilise frameworks like Angular, React, Django, and Spring Framework to enhance application functionality.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure code quality and performance optimisation.
  • Manage version control using Git or SVN for collaborative development.
  • Integrate APIs and web services (REST/SOAP) to enhance application capabilities.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning through deployment.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, SCSS.
  • Experience with back-end technologies: PHP, Python (Django), , ASP.NET (C#).
  • Familiarity with database management systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite.
  • Experience with project management tools like Trello or Jira for effective workflow management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
