Job Description:
Aura Care Living, is looking for a Senior carer. Stratton Court Village boasts an 85 bed Home
As a Senior you will have responsibility for leading a team of staff in absence of the unit lead to ensure the delivery of an excellent standard of care.
Working within a supportive team, you will be helping to provide the best possible, person-centered care to our elderly residents to help them feel comfortable and secure in the home, whilst ensuring to help maintain their independence, dignity and, above all, control of their own lives.
Working 4 days per week, 7am – 7pm. Alternate weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing high standards of physical and emotional support and care to our residents
- Supporting residents to be as active and independent as possible
- Ensuring the home is kept clean, tidy and safe
- Assisting with Meal times
- Medication management
- Care Planning
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a Senior Role essential, NVQ level 3 desirable.
- Caring and compassionate personality, with a passion to help others in a safe manner
- Strong communication skills
