Location

Start Date

Programme Description
What does this team do?
Our Transaction Services teams provide both due diligence and post deal advisory services across a range of areas (e.g. Integrations, separations, operations and technology) on transactions. This means you'll be helping clients who are planning to buy, sell or take-over businesses with the execution of the deal. These are often large global deals with high profile clients.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You'll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2026 for the Autumn 2026 intake.
What kind of work will I do?
As a member of our Transaction Services team, you will help clients assess, execute or drive value from the deal through analysis, advice and reporting. You'll work on some of the largest and most complex acquisitions and joint ventures in the UK.
Gaining experience across all sorts of industries, you'll combine market-leading approaches with cutting-edge M&A technologies to deliver projects for high profile, often commercially sensitive deals. You will:
- Develop an understanding of the target business and it's drivers, interpreting information memoranda, business plans and publicly available information on the target business.
- Review and evaluate important data projections and report on key issues identified.
- Participate in various marketing initiatives and practice development activities.
This role is part of our three-year M&A rotation graduate scheme. You'll start in Transaction Services (your "home offering area") and gain valuable experience through two further rotations within different M&A offering areas. This structured approach allows you to build a comprehensive understanding of the M&A business as a whole, develop key skills, and network across the team. You'll return to your home offering area at the end of the programme.
Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you're in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
All our work spaces are accessible, however, if you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team. You can find further information on ourparent and carer policies here.
How will I develop?
As a Graduate within Transaction Services, you will complete the world-renowned ACA qualification.
You'll begin with a comprehensive induction programme, equipping you with the skills and confidence to work with our clients. Ongoing professional development will be provided through your project team, mentoring, and a dedicated buddy.
