We're a small, niche, fast-growing construction contractor based in St Albans, and we're looking for a motivated person, who wants to build a long-term career in the industry. This is a junior, office-based role with real responsibility, excellent training, and occasional site exposure.

You'll support our projects behind the scenes — helping us deliver safely, on time, on budget and to a high standard. The work is varied, covering project administration, SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality), compliance, training records, and general operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting project setup, RAMS and site documentation
  • Updating health & safety, environmental and quality records
  • Helping maintain CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations
  • Assisting with ISO audits and training compliance
  • Providing flexible admin support across the team
  • Building strong digital, organisational and industry skills

What we're looking for

  • A proactive, organised self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Good digital confidence (Microsoft 365 especially)
  • Interest in construction and willingness to learn
  • Previous work experience (any sector) showing reliability
  • Construction-related study — degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, T-Level or similar are all welcome
