The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable Casual Trainer – Offshore to join our Offshore Curriculum Area at Fleetwood Nautical College. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality training that prepares students and apprentices for careers in the offshore and maritime industries.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a Casual Trainer – Offshore, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and effective practical and theoretical training sessions to a range of students across FE and apprenticeship programmes.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality training materials and resources, including online content.
- Assessing learners' progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting them in achieving outstanding outcomes.
- Conducting progress reviews with students and employers, ensuring learning plans are current and aligned with industry standards.
- Contributing to course development and continuous quality improvement across the Offshore Curriculum Area.
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained within all training environments.
