Role Overview

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused
Public Sector Resourcer
to support the growth of our public sector practice. This is a junior role suited to someone who enjoys research, speaking with people, and building strong talent pipelines. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our database of
Public Sector /
Security Cleared (SC)
candidates, keeping it up to date, and engaging with candidates about current and upcoming roles. Building and nurturing the network is a key part of the role, to ensure candidates continue to be engaged with BrightBox, ready for their next assignment.

This role is a key part of our delivery team and provides a strong development pathway into senior resourcing. This is primarily a remote working role, working across a standard working day. You will be able to travel into Manchester to meet with the team as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source public sector and SC-cleared candidates across multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networks)
  • Build, grow, and maintain a high-quality database of public sector / SC candidates for public sector assignments
  • Regularly engage with candidates to ensure accurate data, availability, and assignment preferences
  • Qualify candidates for suitability against live and upcoming roles
  • Present roles to candidates and support them through the recruitment process
  • Maintain data cleanliness and compliance within our CRM and internal systems
  • Monitor market trends and talent hotspots within the UK cleared community
  • Work closely with client account execs and delivery consultants to match suitable candidates to active vacancies
  • Contribute to a positive candidate experience and uphold BrightBox Group's reputation

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with candidates
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A proactive, research-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working with databases, ATS systems, or spreadsheets
  • Interest in the public sector and security-cleared market
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to learn

Desirable

  • Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or administration
  • Knowledge of UK security clearance processes (BPSS, SC, DV)
  • Experience using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter or job board search
