Probation Period

This role includes an initial probation period of 3 months, which may be extended by up to 3 additional months depending on the employee's experience, performance and overall suitability for the role. The probation period is intended as a chance for both the company and the employee to confirm that the role is a good fit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Stock control and general warehouse management
  • Order handling (picking & packing) for customer orders
  • Labelling, packing and preparing parcels for dispatch
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
  • Assisting with regular stock checks and other warehouse tasks as required

Requirements & Preferences

  • Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions accurately
  • Able to work well as part of a small team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excel experience preferred (updating stock lists, basic data entry)
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Reach / counterbalance experience is an advantage
  • No previous forklift experience is also fine – training can be provided

Working Hours

  • Working hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks (40 paid hours per week).
